Complete all sections of our online enrolment application
Please also attach the required ID and evidence. If applicable, provide brief details of your prior learning, relevant experience and skills.
Receive our email and start your online foundation course
This free course is a resource for you to complete and refer back to. It is designed to support you with important foundation knowledge for your role as an educator.
Complete communication processes with our Enrolment Coordinator
Check for emails from firstdoor.com.au. Our Enrolment Coordinator will contact you regarding any information and course suitability checks required for your enrolment.
Complete your funding and fee payment arrangements
If course fees are required, the starter fee or course fee will be processed using your provided card or account details. If you select a monthly payment plan, you must also complete the fee arrangement form before your enrolment can be confirmed.
Receive your Confirmation of Enrolment and book your welcome meeting
After successfully completing steps 1–4, you will receive an official Confirmation of Enrolment and be invited to book a welcome meeting with your personal mentor.
Complete your welcome meeting using your laptop
Your welcome meeting will take place either in person or online with your mentor. You will learn about important First Door study processes, complete your training plan and receive access to your first unit.
Start your first unit
Begin your first unit’s online course and assessment tasks. Your personal mentor will check in with you, and you can contact her for study support whenever needed.
