Promote continuity of staff through successful recruitment and induction

FD 3 58Explore how to successfully manage recruitment, selection and induction to attract and retain the best suited people in your team and for your organisation.

This workshop explores the skills and knowledge required to successfully execute tasks in the recruitment cycle; and, how these fit into human resource processes to identify workforce planning needs and to establish continuity of staff. We discuss and engage in practical scenarios to refine your recruitment and selection practices, e.g. planning for effective recruitment, preparing relevant job descriptions, interviewing and selection skills, and 'onboarding' processes.

You will:

  • identify future workforce needs and plan a timeline
  • prepare relevant job role descriptions and advertising to assist in successful recruitment
  • develop a selection process and interview questions
  • establish the required and suggested documents for all new staff member
  • establish onboarding processes and new staff procedures to support new members' continued success
